This is our first News Letter to let you know what's going on with our youth group.

Becoming One!

Each of our youth services is different.  We pray, study the Word, fellowship, and praise and worship our wonderful God.  Through these meetings we are becoming a youth group worthy of our name – “One”. One Body in One Service to our Lord Jesus Christ!

Parents are welcome to sit in on any of these 3 meetings.  I understand that it’s important to see what your child is being taught.  We never want you to feel uneasy in any way.  If there is a problem of any kind feel free to contact me.

Thank you for giving me the privilege and honor to serve your children by teaching them how awesome living for God is.  Keep a watch on the website for an updated summer youth events calendar.  Continue to re-enforce how important your child is to God and this church body!  They are all so special and important!

3 Services!  3 Purposes!  3 Goals!

Sunday School – We are beginning a study on the spiritual gifts.  Our goal is to:

1)  Identify our individual spiritual gifts;                          2)  Seek God’s guidance in how to use these gifts to glorify Him;                                                                   3)  To grow closer to God and make a stronger commitment to serve Him;                                             4)  To realize that each youth is important to our church body.  

If any of you would like to take a spiritual gifts test just let me know!

Sunday Nights – We are working on a church newspaper.  We are in the process of praying about what God would have us to include in this paper.  It will be fun, informative, and will help the members of our church get to know each other better.  This project provides an opportunity to unify our youth on one project and will help them grow closer to each other and learn to trust and depend on each other.

Wednesday Nights – Dan and Eron lead us in a study of “church words” and what they truly mean to us as individual children of God.  The games and the praise and worship music are incredible!  Wednesdays are an awesome time for us to pray together, have fun, and just worship our Lord!

 

 

 

 

The youth group isn’t the future church, they are part of the church right now!
